It’s a Mexican restaurant so for that it does a pretty decent job and the service is excellent as well as the vibe. We enjoyed a couple of hours in the bustle of Sunday Antibes

As New Yorker and self proclaimed purveyor of Mexican food, I was highly skeptical of Mexican food in Antibes. But this place was a pleasant surprise! I really think they gave Mexican food justice. The Al Pastor Tacos were seasoned well, the shrimp tempuras tasted great with the garnishes working to elevate the dish and the mini empanadas were crunchy on the outside and soft/juicy on the inside (as it should be). Drinks were made well and service was friendly and fast too. My fiancé and I recommend this place for a quick lunch.

The Special Shrimp tacos is simply delicious!! I come from California where we have the best Mexican food but those tacos are the best I have ever had.

We went to Casa Azul in Antibes for dinner last night as a group of four, and we had two dogs with us. The restaurant was dog friendly, which made things easier for us. I wasn’t specifically looking for Mexican food while in France, but others in our group wanted it, so I went along. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. I ordered the chicken nachos and a chicken quesadilla, and both were well prepared and enjoyable. I would have appreciated some real melted cheddar cheese on the nachos but the liquid cheese was well integrated. The guacamole we shared as an appetizer was just okay. Nothing super special about it. I don’t drink alcohol, but others in our party ordered margaritas and seemed happy with them. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and we were seated quickly. The prices felt a bit high, especially considering it’s the off season, but overall the experience was solid and straightforward.

The shrimp tacos were delicious but this Mexican restaurant fell completely flat with the classic margarita. The taste was terrible. I’ve had good margaritas with “bottom shelf” and “top shelf” premium tequila. The service was good. We are seated outside because the inside is small so you better eat your hot food quickly on cold nights. I DO NOT recommend the margarita at all.

Great spot for Mexican! We ordered the guacamole (a very healthy portion), beans and cheese (whole beans with pickled jalapenos), and the carne asada quesadilla. For being an ocean away from Mexico I thought it was great as was the spicy margarita. The service was fine. I’m used to classic French service where the waiter is around but needs to be flagged down for anything. I might have seen our waitress twice and once was when she was on her smoke break. I’d come back and recommend it!
